Antminer Z15 Pro: ZEC price and shutdown price
Dashed line — the leader's shutdown price for each day at your electricity rate, at that day's network difficulty and block reward.
Over the last year, the Antminer Z15 Pro shutdown price went from $57.17 to $168.98: network difficulty rose 188%. ZEC never dropped below it.
ASIC profitability: how we calculate it
The ranking includes every model from the MineOrNot calculators: Bitcoin (SHA-256), Litecoin and Dogecoin (Scrypt), Ethereum Classic and EthereumPoW, Zcash (Equihash). For each one, we take daily revenue at today's network difficulty and coin price and subtract electricity at your rate.
Profit per day shows what an ASIC earns now. The shutdown price shows how resilient it is: the further it is below the current coin price, the bigger the margin if the coin gets cheaper or network difficulty rises.
FAQ
Which ASIC is the most profitable right now?
At $0.10/kWh, the most profitable is the Antminer Z15 Pro on ZEC: +$38.85 per day. Best on each coin: BTC — Antminer S23 Hyd 3U (+$15.15), LTC + DOGE — SealMiner DL1 Hydro (+$4.83), ETC — Jasminer X44-P (+$5.01), ETHW — Jasminer X44-P (+$19.12), ZEC — Antminer Z15 Pro (+$38.85).
How much does an ASIC earn per month?
It depends on the model and your rate. Popular models at $0.10/kWh: Antminer S21 XP on BTC — +$28.04 per month, Antminer L9 (16Gh) on LTC + DOGE — −$26.08, Jasminer X16-Q Pro on ETHW — +$28.91 (on ETC — −$8.18), Antminer Z15 Pro on ZEC — +$1,166. A month is 30 days at today's network difficulty and coin prices.
Which ASIC should I pick for home?
“For home” in the ranking means models up to 1,200 W. Of these, the most profitable right now is the Jasminer X16-Q Pro on ETHW: +$0.96 per day at $0.10/kWh. To see them all, use the “For home” button in the parameters.
What is the shutdown price?
The coin price at which an ASIC's revenue equals its electricity cost; below it, mining loses money. The margin shows how far the price can fall before a model goes into the red. Rising network difficulty works the same way as a falling price.
How often is the ranking updated?
Our server collects network difficulty and coin prices every 5 minutes. The ranking is recalculated when you open the page, every 5 minutes and whenever you change the electricity rate.
